4 year-old Kindergarten

As required by the South Carolina Department of Education, all children must be 4 years old of age on or before September 1st. All children must be assessed individually using the DIAL4 (Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning).

York School District 1 has a comprehensive system that focuses on the developmental support and learning that children must have in order to be ready for school.
